She decided to serve the suffering humanity by becoming a nurse.Though her family opposed her to becoming a nurse, She did not give in. Her family allowedher to become a nurse at last. She got training for nursing In Germany. She played a great rolein the Crimean war between England and Russia. She managed military hospitals at Crimea.
