Nursing means
looking after the sick or injured. Nursing is also regarded important in Islam.Prophet (peace be
upon him) paid visits even to his ailing enemies. Muslim women worked asnurses on the
battlefields and in the hospitals. Florence Nightingale is considered as thefounder of modern
nursing. She decided to serve the suffering humanity by becoming a nurse.Though her family
opposed her to becoming a nurse, She did not give in. Her family allowedher to become a
nurse at last. She got training for nursing In Germany. She played a great rolein the Crimean war
between England and Russia. She managed military hospitals at Crimea.

institution for training nurses in London with that money.
